Koh Samui Nightlife

Samui Bars, Clubs & Discos...

The island of Koh Samui in Thailand is famous for its nightlife and you can party the night away until the sun rises. One of the largest events is the Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan, but this deserves its own dedicated space so we will deal with only the nightlife on Samui here.

Black Moon Party
The Black Moon parties are heald twice a month at Chaweng Lake view when the moon is at the 'Black' stage. The party will generally start at 2am after the local bars and discos are closing down and you can party the night away until after the sun rises listending to the pumping sound of the best House music played by some of the worlds most renowned DJ's.

Escape House Party
This event takes place once a month at Chaweng lake view and follows a similar house music theme to that of the Black Moon Party. Famous DJ's from around the world play here, as well as local DJ's who keep the music pumping and people dancing all night.

Lady Bars
Thailand wouldn't be the same without the mix-up of Lady Bars and Koh Samui is no different. There are many to choose from in Chaweng's Soi Green Mango, Soi Reggae and Lamai beach road which are the main areas of nightlife. You will also find the odd lady bar scattered elsewhere on the island, but not in such abundance as those stated above.

Night Clubs
Chaewng is the main area for nightlife and you have the famous Green Mango club, Sweet Soul, Mint Bar, Sound Pub and Solo. The later two are the nightlcubs to head for once everything else closes down at around 2-3am and will generally stay open until 6am or a little later.

Reggae pub is also world-famous and has a more commercial sound than the clubs above. Opening at around 8pm it will play a mix of music until it closes its doors at 2 - 2.30am.

In Lamai you have Fusion, which is the late opener, as well as Seed and several other nightclubs. All are easily located around the McDonalds in the centre of Lamai beach road.
