Kohsamuirentals.com provides customized software specifically designed to display online holiday home rentals located in Koh Samui. The system allows villa owners and managers to create their own pages to display their properties at their best while offering the consumer immediate online booking for their choice of villa and holiday dates.

Our Terms of Business have been created to ensure the system operates at the desired level for all parties involved. By making a payment through the website you are signifying that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Business.

Definitions used in this document:

‘The Client’ means the person undertaking a property rental through Kohsamuirentals.com.

‘The Property Manager’ means the person or company that has listed properties for rental on Kohsamuirentals.com. This may be an individual owner, a partnership, a corporation or an authorised agent.

‘The Website’ means Kohsamuirentals.com.

‘The Administrators’ means the management team responsible for Kohsamuirentals.com website.

The Property Details:

The Property Manager is responsible for uploading and maintaining the information on the site and The Administrators accept no responsibility for any inaccuracies or errors in the information supplied.

Any dispute between The Client and The Property Manager must be resolved by the parties concerned. The Administrators will not be involved.

The Contract:

The Website provides software to enable The Client to book directly with The Property Manager for the holiday home and dates of The Client’s choice. Although The Administrators take a payment on The Property Manager’s behalf The Client is entering into a contract with The Property Manager and agrees to the contract terms relevant to the chosen property when making a payment to reserve a property.

Booking Fee:

The Administrators provide a secure facility for the collection of a deposit payment payable by The Client to reserve the chosen holiday rental. Confirmation of the booking will be notified to The Client by The Property Manager within five working days of the deposit payment being paid.

The Property Manager is responsible for maintaining the relevant online diary to allow users to see if a rental property is available on any selected dates. On the rare occasion that a diary is not fully up to date the deposit payment made by The Client will not guarantee the selected holiday rental.

In the event that The Client’s chosen rental is not available as advertised on The Website, and a suitable alternative cannot be secured, then the deposit payment will be returned in full within 24 hours of notification.

Any further payments made by The Client may qualify for a refund in the event of cancellation of the booking or any other reason subject to The Property Terms and Conditions for the individual property or by agreement with The Property Manager.

However, the deposit payment is non-returnable in the case of cancellation by The Client. 

Privacy Statement:

The Property Manager and The Client will effectively be introduced through The Website and will correspond directly once the deposit payment has been paid.

The Client’s bank or credit card details are strictly confidential and The Administrators do not have access to this information: financial transactions are undertaken through the Paypal secure payment system or direct bank transfer.

To process the booking The Administrators need to collect certain information from The Client. Only relevant information will be passed to The Property Manager, and no personal information related to The Client will be passed to any other third party by The Administrators for commercial or other purposes.

However, The Website client database, including any personal data relating to The Clients contained therein, may have to be disclosed to a third party acquiring the website whether by takeover, merger, acquisition, reorganisation or otherwise.

Cookies:

The Website uses cookies. A ‘cookie’ allows information to be stored on an enquirer’s computer by The Website to improve efficiency. Please enable cookies when using The Website.

Newsletter:

Any person making a booking for, or an enquiry about, rental properties displayed on The Website may receive occasional Newsletters by e-mail with information such as special deals offered through Kohsamuirentals.com. To opt out of this service please use the facility provided in the first or subsequent Newsletter.
